

Happy April from 401 Tech Bridge. We’ve been busy this month! On April 18th we hosted 100+ representatives from NUWC Division Newport, various colleges & universities, and private companies for a Technology Showcase at our new lab space in Middletown, RI. The event was an opportunity for companies and innovators to get a first-hand look at new, cutting-edge technology from NUWC inventors and university researchers. Captain Chad Hennings from NUWC also joined us to discuss tech scouting opportunities. We have lots of exciting opportunities & new things happening in May – see announcements below!

The DoD issued its pre-release of their 23.2 SBIR and 23.B STTR BAAs on April 19, 2023, which opens to receive proposals on May 17, 2023, and closes June 14, 2023 at 12:00pm ET.
These BAAs are inclusive of 38 standard Navy SBIR topics, 3 Direct to Phase II topics, and 5 STTR topics from 5 of the Navy’s SYSCOMs. Topics are subject to change during the pre-release period.
