401 Tech Bridge and MassChallenge are proud to present the Blue Technology Accelerator, which seeks to identify high-quality blue tech startups and connect them with industry specific resources, networks and programmatic expertise to jumpstart their growth in the region as it recovers from the economic ramifications of the pandemic.

Those interested in applying for the cohort or the fellowship program should attend the kick-off event to learn more about the application process, selection process and the program schedule and composition post-selection. The event on September 14, 2021, at District Hall in Providence will include:

The 401 Tech Bridge and MassChallenge Blue Technology Accelerator is made possible with support from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) Scaling Pandemic Resilience Through Innovation Technology (SPRINT) Challenge, which awarded 401 Tech Bridge a grant in April to support economic growth and resiliency in Rhode Island as it recovers from the pandemic, building on existing areas of strength in Rhode Island that include applications critical to the blue tech sector.

Additional programming support for the Blue Technology Accelerator & Fellowship Program is provided in part by the National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT), Rhode Island Martine Trades Association, Polaris MEP and the University of Rhode Island.

This event will be held indoors. Masks are required for those who are not fully vaccinated; masks are optional for fully vaccinated attendees.

Advanced registration is required.

The kick-off program and Q&A session will be taped, and the recording will be posted on the 401 Tech Bridge website within a week of the event.
