Catalytic Converter Monolith

Catalytic converter substrate made of thin, corrugated, tightly rolled metal foil.

Goal:

Seeking a method to make a tightly wound monolith to be coated for a catalytic converter.

Requirements:

Technical Considerations:

Seeking the ability create a 15cm wide, 15cm long unit with spirals about 5 revolutions per cm
Must be made of cordierite or like material that can be coated by typical precious metals in catalytic converters
Prototype (1 off) solutions will be considered, but mass manufacturing methods are preferred.
