Tech and Supplier Scouting
Find the Right Technology, Supplier, or Solution Partner
Polaris helps manufacturers identify, assess, and connect with the technologies, suppliers, and solution partners they need to solve real-world challenges.
Whether you are facing a production bottleneck, sourcing issue, technology gap, operational challenge, or a broader innovation need, our team works with you to clearly define the problem, clarify the desired outcome, and identify credible pathways to action.
What we do
Through the Polaris Scouting Initiative, including both Tech and Supplier Scouting, manufacturers can submit a challenge and receive structured, expert-guided support. Engagements may include:
- Identifying relevant technologies already available on the market.
- Sourcing qualified suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners.
- Scanning for emerging or alternative solutions based on specific needs, budget, timeline, and production environment.
- Preparing your team for implementation, pilots, or deeper engagement when needed.
Our scouting process helps manufacturers define the right problem, understand the solution landscape, and move toward practical, actionable outcomes.

How it works
1. Submit your problem or challenge area
Complete the Polaris Tech and Supplier Scouting Request Form with as much detail as possible. Tell us what you’re trying to solve, what success looks like, and any timing, budget, or production considerations.
2. Initial Review & Consultation
A member of our team contact you to schedule a one-on-one conversation. This discussion helps validate the challenge, clarify objectives, and determine next steps.
Submissions are reviewed using a combination of Polaris staff expertise and AI-assisted tools to organize information, surface key themes, and support a more informed intake process.
