Scouting

Tech Scouting and Supplier Scouting

Scouting is an agile initiative that’s crafted to pinpoint and assess state-of-the-art technologies, products, and services. Utilizing our expansive nationwide network, our goal is to procure solutions tailored to specific requirements, thereby ensuring that our DoD partners remain ahead of the curve in technological progress.

There are two type of scouting: Tech Scouting and Supplier Scouting.

Tech scouting refers to the systematic process of identifying, evaluating, and acquiring or integrating external technologies, innovations, or solutions that can enhance or complement existing products, services, or processes. It involves actively monitoring the technological landscape, analyzing trends, and identifying potential opportunities for collaboration, investment.

“The Tech Scout project I ran with 401 Tech Bridge yielded incredibly positive results. We were able to identify and evaluate a range of emerging companies that had the potential to revolutionize our industry. The insights and recommendations from this project not only provided me with a strategic edge but also allowed us to make informed decisions about partnerships and investments.”
