“Hybrid” Qualification Demonstration: Resilient Undersea and Cross-Domain Communications

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to witness next-generation communication technologies that enable secure, persistent, and adaptive data exchange across undersea, surface, and command-and-control networks. This demonstration will spotlight innovations designed to support autonomous swarm operations, featuring encrypted communications, adaptive failover systems, and self-healing network capabilities. These systems ensure seamless connectivity across multiple domains—from the ocean floor to shore-based command centers.

Selected NETB prize challenge applicants will be invited to present their cutting-edge solutions. Each participant will have 15 minutes to demonstrate their technology’s impact on mission-critical communications, followed by up to 10 minutes of Q&A with a panel of experts from the US Navy, DoD, and other federal, academic, and non-profit partners.

Companies with top-scoring technologies will be awarded approximately $7,500 and will be invited to participate in the culminating in-water experiment event on 28 August 2025. Up to four companies with top-scoring technologies will be awarded a total of $200,000 at the BlueTIDE 2025 event. For more information on BlueTIDE 2025, click here.
