NUWC Hosts Collaboration Discussion with 401 Tech Bridge

401 Tech Bridge was honored to be invited to participate in a panel discussing the various “tools in the toolkit” available for fostering collaborations.

Bill Zappone, a technology and commercialization specialist, along with Julie Kallfelz, director of the Northeast Tech Bridge, organized a panel discussion on Feb. 7 to bring awareness among scientists and engineers at the warfare center about collaboration opportunities with external organizations.  Erik Brine, Director and Linda Larsen, Operations Manager from 401 Tech Bridge were invited to participate. The discussion highlighted the role of the Technology Partnership Office (TPO) in facilitating successful projects by leveraging various resources available. Panelists included representatives from organizations like 401 Tech Bridge, which serve as intermediaries connecting the warfare center with industry partners. These partnerships, established under Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA), extend the center’s reach and enhance its capabilities by fostering collaborations.
