Recap of our 2nd Demonstration Event
In April, we embarked on an exciting journey of innovation with our second demonstration event, and the response was nothing short of inspiring. Welcoming 11 companies to demonstrate their advancements in Digital Twin and Virtual World technologies, it was a day full of collaboration and ingenuity.
A key highlight of the event was the diligent evaluation process led by our esteemed panel of experts. Michele Diserio from IBM; Geoffrey Wertman from Naval Undersea Warfare Center – Newport; Tyler Crafford of Naval Undersea Warfare Center – Newport; Dennis Mclaughlin an industry consultant; Rebecca Russo with the US Naval War College; and Karl Sammut from Flinders University in Australia meticulously assessed each participant based on application, technical submission, and live demonstration. Their expertise ensured a thorough and fair evaluation, setting the stage for the future of innovation within this technical focus area.
Amidst tough competition, we are thrilled to announce the selected participants who have earned the opportunity to further showcase their innovations at our upcoming in-water demonstration day in August. Congratulations to Bluemvmt, DSA Ocean, MAK Technologies, and Sunfish Inc for securing their spots through their exemplary performance and compelling solutions.
Additionally, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Avalon Holographics and DUST Identity for their outstanding contributions, earning them invitations to showcase their technology alongside selected participants in August. Your innovative approaches and dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology have truly set you apart.
