Advances in Persistent Monitoring and Sensing Technologies

401 Tech Bridge proudly hosted its third demonstration event, highlighting advancements in Persistent Monitoring and Sensing technologies. The event, held in May, brought together 10 up-and-coming companies, resulting in a day filled with presentations on persistent monitoring and sensing technologies.

A key component of the event was the thorough evaluation process overseen by an esteemed panel of experts. Dr. Lauren Freeman and Dr. Kristina Kamensky from Naval Undersea Warfare Center – Newport, alongside industry leader Dennis McLaughlin, and Dianne Egnor and Jeff Rowan from MITRE, meticulously assessed each participant based on their application, technical submission, and live demonstration. Their collective expertise ensured an equitable evaluation, setting a solid foundation for future innovation in this critical domain.

Out of a full schedule of companies, we are happy to announce the selected participants who have earned the opportunity to demonstrate their innovations at an upcoming in-water demonstration day in August. Warm congratulations to BLUEiQ, JAIA Robotics, SeaDeep, Seasats, and Sensor Technology Inc. for securing their positions through their informative presentation and compelling solutions.

We also extend congratulations to enDAQ – Mide Technology Corp and Starboard for their contributions, earning them invitations to showcase their technology in August. Their innovative approaches and commitment have truly distinguished them in the field.

Finally, we would like to congratulate all the companies and volunteers who supported this event. Their involvement not only enriched the event but also provided insights into the evolving landscape of Persistent Monitoring & Sensing technologies. Each participant played an essential role in making the event a resounding success.

401 Tech Bridge is eagerly anticipating our upcoming demonstration focused on Autonomous Systems on June 13th. Register for it here. We are excited to continue shaping the future of technology!
